MONTREAL - The North Shore Lions honor their players at the annual 2012 Team Banquet .  Coach Warren and the rest of the staff hosted players and parents to celebrate the conclusion of another season.  Trophies and pictures were awarded to all players and the individual MVP's were named and awarded.  read more...


October 27, 2012.                
MONTREAL - The North Shore Lions 2012 season came to a premature end on Saturday afternoon following a 41 - 28 loss to the Sun Youth Hornets.  The Lions were crowned regular season champions with an 8-2 record and topped the league in offensive output with 421 points scored for an average of over 40 points a game.  This was very impressive for a young Lions team with only 5 returning veterans from last year's team and a whole new coaching staff. MONTREAL - The QBFL playoffs start next weekend.  The North Shore Lions, newly crowned regular season champions will take on the 6th place 5-5 Sun Youth Hornets.  However, don't be fooled by the Hornets record which was affected by forfeiting 4 games.  Their only loss of the season was to the North Shore Lions.  If not for the forfeiture of those 4 games, these 2 teams were favoured to meet in the QBFL finals.

MONTREAL - The North Shore Football Association today appointed Warren McCaffrey as the new Head Coach of the North Shore Lions.
